At present time, the requirements for the percussions performers in groups and at Russian high educational institutions are extremely high. At most of primary and secondary-specialized institutions and studios and rock-clubs of the Moscow region the teaching process does not always meet these requirements. This is often the result of deficiencyof the qualified teachers, instruments of a proper quality and the availability of music material.

The aim of the percussions festival-competition – to discuss and work out the necessary ways for getting over this crisis.

The main tasks of the competition – to discover the perspective young percussion instruments performers, to popularize the percussions playing skills, to increase the performing level, to widen the sharing of experiences and to increase the qualification level of the teachers, leaders of the children’s musical schools, colleges, studios and rock-clubs.

To take part in judging the competition and to be the leading specialists of the master-classes the teachers of the famous music institutions of high educations of Moscow and the famous Russian drums performers were invited.
